day which was much neaded is real cool this eve wind very high Wallace & Lena went to Elgin to tent meeting to night Aulden stayed with us Mon July 24 A very cold & so very windy we washed & canned 9 qts apples Bro Will was here for dinner Mr Westren came to Wallaces this eve is so cold we are afraid of frost Tues July 25 A chilly windy day well not only chilly but cold Mother & I caned eleven qts apples this fornoon & helped Lena can 21 qts Mr Westren helped peel the apples
