wed Dec 6 A fine day Russell is sick came home from school before noon has sore throat & head aches Wallace went to Jake (Jarouse?) sale to day I baked bread patched & a lot of other work th Dec 7 A fine day Russell is better this eve than last night am so glad Wallace & Mother was at Wadena this fornoon Fri Dec 8 A gloomy day not cold I took Mrs Ogle some hominy this afternoon she gave me some honey back the roads are muddy
