(1) temperature (rough indicator) [sketch/picture] electrical circuit drawing including: output of scaler (for [example?]), fixed resistor (~20k), grid of subcarrier modulation stage, [Friez?] [thermistor?] : varies from 60k [wt?] -25 degrees Celsius to 9k [wt?] +50 degrees Celsius Therefore pulse height will vary over a factor [P?] 2.7/[1? 2?]. Not very sensitive but well adapted to our needs as a rough indicator. Doesn't require a separate channel (2) Use a pressure-actuated, snap acting switch (such as proposed by N.R.L. for firing gondola circuit [1?]) inside the nose cone to signal the loss of pressurization in nose cone. The switch might be set at 10 cm Hg, for example. Various possibilities which do not require a telemetering channel suggest themselves (a) [Turning? Tuning?] condensers on subcarrier [sketch/picture] electrical circuit includes: pressure switch As switch is actuated, subcarrier frequency changes discontinuously. Record on recorder jumps. [sketch/picture] drawing of linear signal, with baseline, pulse peaks, frequency drop and recovery Also meter on discriminator
