21 July 1955 Hugh Anderson had a fairly respectable flight of his zenith angle dependence of intensity apparatus to ~96,000 feet from Minneapolis on Sunday the 17th(?) Got data on way up and for about 1/2 hour at altitude. Lost telemetering signal then. ---------- Frank McDonald expects to leave tomorrow for International Falls, Minnesota for one or two further Cerenkov-Scintillator flights. The Minneapolis flight data are now mostly read and look quite clean. ----------- Dr. Ralph Johnson of Ramo-Woolridge called today to ask me if I would be willing to give an invited lecture for their staff in latter September or early October. ~3/4 hour lectures every month or so.
