I called Professor Roy Thomas, Head of department of physics at Wayne. He confirmed the above facts. They have considered giving the machine to a museum, but he said he felt rather certain that we could have it if we wanted. He said it would probably take a good graduate student ~6 months to re-assemble and place in operation. He also said he felt that the machine was obsolete and problems could be better done by electronic means. Nevertheless, I said that we might be interested. He agreed to talk with Professor
