On the 15th of August, we received word from National Science Foundation that $120,000 grant (Grant No NSF/IGY - 10) was on its way to State University of Iowa for "Procurement of Approximately 60 Rockoons for Use in the Rocketry Program of the Forthcoming International Geophysical Year". -------------- Grant received and accepted by Board of Regents on 23 August 1955. ---------------- ------------------------------------------------------- G.F.
