Hugh Anderson left on 20 August for another flight at Minneapolis ( or International Falls). Hope to get a 120,000 feet flight. ------------------------------------ Heard via Dr. Tyndall that John Rinehart has been appointed associate director of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory ( being reorganized under Fred Whipple's direction and relocated at Cambridge, Massachusetts under Harvard "umbrella").
