On 16 May 1956 Dr. Hideo Itokawa of the Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo of Chiba City, Japan arrived in Iowa City for several days discussion of use of small rockets for atmospheric research. He is in charge of the national program in Japan for the International Geophysical Year. Also Mr. G. Maruyama of Nozaki Associates, Inc. 111 Broadway New York 6, N.Y. [Phone: Rector 2-6526-B] met him here. Maruyama is a commercial export-import representative of a Japanese commercial agency (particularly concerned with aircraft)
