Sunday 16 September 1956 -------------------------- On 8 September I flew by Pan American from New York (Idlewild Airport) to Barcelona, Spain via Santa Maria, Azores and Lisbon, Portugal. Gave a paper at the C.S.A.G.I. international meeting on Scientific Uses of Earth Satellites and served as chairman of the Working Group on Rockets and Satellites which prepared resolutions on international cooperation -- group consisted of Russian, Chinese, French, British, Australian, Japanese, Swiss and United States representatives. On 14 September departed Barcelona at 3:30 P.M. (Barcelona daylight time) and arrived at Idlewild at 6:45 AM (E.D.T.). Returned to Hampton Bays by
