Advantages: (1) Escapement makes slipping teeth impossible (2) Considerably longer tape will be possible and longer storage time. Van Allen mentions the Dukane 0.5 watt push-pull transistor oscillator as a possible way to get more power Ludwig confirms the second try of Deal II as being definite and as being scheduled for 28 March. Have two payloads available. Two things to check - spin effect on Receiver modulation & adjustment of tape recorder springs.
