Ludwig will stop at ABMA, then at Iowa on return from Canaveral. We discussed location of G.M. tube in Juno II without final conclusion. Agreed that it is desirable to have less than 150 mg/cm2 equivalent stopping power of Al in order to be in a position to detect aurora if we get a high inclination orbit. Also agreed on scale of 512. Can not be much larger if are to get a reasonable repetition rate for low latitude C.R. ~ 30/sec = 1 cycle per 17 sec.
