R. - 395 of 27 March 1959 "- The strong s.c. geomagnetic storm that began at 0842 on 26 March may have vaulted from one of these flares. It should be borne in mind, however, that a geomagnetic storm, possibly of M-region type, occurred twenty-eight days before. An aurora was visible in Climax, Colorado on 26 March"
