2/21/60 In this morning's Des Moines Register, it was reported that Professor Marcel Schein had died of a heart attack in Chicago shortly after return from his expedition on a naval vessel in the Carribbean for launching two huge blocks of emulsion. This enterprise had been the attempted fulfillment of one of Schein's greatest ambitions for many years. I have not heard how successful the expedition was.
