12/30/60 Contrary to my expectations of almost a week ago, the weather has turned mild again and construction on our house has been resumed. The cement block work seems to be largely, if not wholly, finished. Stone masons will commence work tomorrow. {Abbie, Cynthia, Margo, Sally and I visited Mother in Mt. Pleasant today}
