Page Thirty-Four --- S - F Collector --- [[line]] Sykora, heated arguments, refreshments, Wollheim, Sykora, TWS's companion mag, Wollheim, Sykora, more arguments, scientifilms and last but not least, Sykora and Wollheim. On the whole, it looks like nothing whatsoever was gained. Keep up the small size -- it's well received here. JACK CHAPMAN MISKE: --- This issue ain't so hot! ' S a matter of fact, it's pretty damned bad. Fantaglimmerings started out in an absolutely superlative vein, but ended weakly. Still, it was [[underline]] magnifique [[/underline]]! I enjoyed Train's column immensely because of his kick about Kuttner alone. I've always thought Hamilton was bad...but Kuttner? He goes from HACK to the DT's. What does Train think of his latest in MARVEL SS? I thought Kuttner's Wonder series was a mess, but this tops anything and everything! He's a pornographic driveling moron! Jittery Jottings was fair, better than average, in fact. Perhaps I can help Hart out a bit. RAP tells me that "The New Adam" will be published in AMAZING as soon as he can persuade Davis it's all right. He has the manuscript in Chicago. Crawford may get that newsstand MT out yet. I hope so. It will be the tops if he does. Crawford has been in Oakman, Alabama for some [[underline]] months [[/underline]] working on the project with Wilson H. Sheperd, co-publisher of FANCIFUL TALES. Everything is just about ready to go, I guess. First half of Carnell's piece, frankly, was bad. So he things Fearn is good. Tsk, tsk, these Englishmen (I'm one). Second half would have been all right...if I hadn't received the 3rd ToW before I did the COLLECTOR: "Comments on a Convention" was rotten! Did you do it yourself, Johnny? Wilson's article lacked finesse, but was interesting though wandering. The last two covers were bad. Interiors okay. Hurrah for the small size. If you can give us thirty pages, keep up the monthly, and how!
