GOALS ACTION TARGET DATE RESPONSIBILITY --------------------------------- 6. GOAL: Review qualifications and training of employees in protected classes. ACTION: Counsel with individuals regarding training needed and upward mobility. TARGET DATE: FY 1986 RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/Affirmative Action Officer in cooperation with Staff Development 7. GOAL: Coordinate recruitment and testing effort with Iowa Merit Department. ACTION: Maintain contact with Iowa Merit Department on need basis TARGET DATE: FY 1986 RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/Affirmative Action Officer 8. GOAL: Obtain and evaluate written information on exit interview on protected classes. ACTION: Conduct personal exit interview with protected classes. TARGET DATE: FY 1986 ongoing as we receive notice. RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/AAO Employee Services 9. GOAL: Inform staff of possible upward mobility opportunities. ACTION: Develop career ladder brochures TARGET DATE: FY 1986 RESPONSIBILITY: AAO, Staff Development Public Relations 10. GOAL: Maintain internal auditing and reporting systems. ACTION: Update log of new hires, promotions, and terminations bi-weekly TARGET DATE: Quarterly review of staffing. Submit report to Director quarterly on AACP Progress. RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/AAO and Employee Services 11. GOAL: Meet with state Affirmative Action Officers. ACTION: Develop more ways of recruiting protected classes if needed. TARGET DATE: Meetings in FY 1986 RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/AAO and Employee Services 12. GOAL: Review performance evaluations of protected classes to determine problem areas. ACTION: Offer counseling assistance to management and personnel on those identified problem areas. TARGET DATE: FY 1986 monthly RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/AAO and Employee Services 13. GOAL: Agency Space Study Committee will continue to assess facilities on 504 and recommend upgrading of those which are possible. ACTION: If any are found to be in non-conformance; determine costs of bringing them into compliance. TARGET DATE: FY 1986 on-going RESPONSIBILITY: EEO/AAO, Director of Administrative Services Administrative Office Premises Manager
