By now you should have received material on home ownership. It was mailed January 18. With reference to a housing meeting in Fort Madison, I would be happy to come on Saturday March 20 or April 10. I would like to arrive on a Friday evening and depart Saturday evening. Due to the pressure of my work I cannot make a commitment for both Saturday and Sunday. We could have morning and afternoon meetings on the date you select or I could spend the morning inspecting housing conditions and meeting with available local officials, and devote the afternoon to a public seminar. Your wishes, of course, will determine my schedule. I would like to know if you wish federal officials or other persons to participate.
