Mon June 14 A gloomy day not much sunshine rather cold we washed Wallace & Wiliam butchered a pig this eve Tues June 15 A fine day I was at Mrs John Smiths to their (illegible) raining Pall Albright got hurt Wed June 16 A nice day had rain last night Lena & I (illegible) out lard made sausage fryed down the hams & sholders I am so very tired & sleepy th June 17 A nice day I fryed the sausage all down this fornoon we churned this afternoon & did the work besides
