sun Aug 1 we had the heavest rain of the season this afternoon we visited Mothers grave this morning put flowers on it had a very heavy rain last Friday haven't near all our hay up & oats are ready to harvest keeps raining Mon Aug 2 A rainy day dident wash we moved the duck (house?) Father & Wallace fixed the old washing machine Mrs L. E. Biglar died last night of the same trouble as Mother did hard trouble Tues Aug 3 it has rained all day we wer up home all day it is so lonesome at home wed Aug 4 rained this fornoon
