was quite a crowd got quite a nice lot of money Mon Aug 20 A cold morning had frost last night all white this morning Wallace commenced stacking Claud (Wars?) is heping him & Perle came they are bothe here to night I heped Lena fix for a supper at the church to night I am tired & sleepy Tues Aug 31 A fine day we washed Perle & Claud went home this afternoon there is a play at the church to night Russell went Little Ella stayed with me last night & is with me to night she is so good never cryed at all
