AGENDA FOR LADIES AGAINST WOMEN 1. Welcome. What it means to be a Lady, how we got started 2. What it takes to be lady: DRESS CODE and CHARACTER COMMITTMENT WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR DRESS YOU ARE IN YOUR CAHRACTER!!! 3. NAME TAGS. WE have Mrs. name tags available. Please select an appropriate name for you and your name tag. 4. SIGNS we have already made some signs but need you to make more. 5. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 12:20 RALLY on the Pentacrest, or at the Landmark Lobby if the weather is bad. 12:45 "RECEPTION" for Mrs. P's press conference. at the WRAC (The less couth call it a demonstration. 3:30 SPEECH accross the street at the Main LOunge of the Union 5:30 Reception , Triangle Club IMU 6. SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES RALLY: the plan is for LAW to start the rally with speeches and cheers (see attached cheer sheet) At some point the NEW WAVE will "take over" the rally to give some serious information about Mrs. S. Our behavior should be disgust, if not horror. Some milling about in a group. At the end of the rally there will be an incite to demonstrate speech to send people to the WRAC. This is our cue to walk politely, but quickly, to the WRAC PRESS CONFERENCE/RECEPTION: There will be members of LAW attending the press conference. They are reporters from our internal newsletter The Voice of the Unconceived. Our plan is to line the steps of the women's center to give us good visability and to applaud Mrs. S. when she arrives this would also be a woxnderful times to do cheers so don't forget those cheer sheets!!! PRE SPEECH: Some time before the speech Ladies should go to the Union and reserve some seats. Each LADY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RESERVING HER OWN SEAT!!! we suggest sitting in two's or three, maybe five's but really no larger so as to disperse our numbers throughout the audience. Then before the speech begins, there are two choices. You can go out side to demonstrate/recept or remain at the back of the hall to do cheers and sing patriotic songs. (Don't forget those cheer sheets!!) SPEECH: Attached to this paper are a list of "GASP" words and "CHEER" words. When these words are mentioned by Mrs. S in her speech please do the appropriate audible response. This could mean fainting (for the more potent words) to simply gasping, Oh my heavens' to repeating the word over and over. Cheering should come in the form of polite applause, but if you and your seat mates are truly inspired by a particular aspect of her speech, standing and applauding are entirely appropriate. Her speech might be long so pace yourselves and share the work. Further, don't be afraid!!! she needs our support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
