From the Alchemist Metropolis by Forrest J. Ackerman "Metropolis" is a top contender for the greatest scientifilim of all time. I first saw it about 20 years ago, and I saw it for the 10th time a few months ago. Tho the acting has become dated, its feeling of futurism has survived 2 decades -- its fascination is still fresh.
