Mon Mar 6 A gloomy day not cold till this eve wind high & quite cold roads very bad Russell went horse back to school today roads was so bad I did a lot of patching Lena patched too I had a nap this afternoon Tues Mar 7 A fine day froze last night but dident freeze night before will freeze to night nice bright moon light we patched all day have more to do yet wed Mar 8 A nice day Lena washed Wallace helped her th Mar 9 A fine day we finished sawing our wood I called on Grace Papenhayen this
