Mon Apri 3 we had rain this morning & yesterday morning was a nice afternoon the men are filling ditches putting willows in them Tues Apri 4 not so nice to day the men worked at the ditches Stephen & Nellie Foxwell was here after Linies incubator & 12 day eggs to set Russell & Rudy went to Elgin this eve wed Apri 5 we had rain this morning was gloomy all day Lena washed I dident feel good I slept awhile th Apri 6 A gloomy morning nice afternoon Wallace & Aulden went to Elgin after oil Ella dident go to school she sent her shoes to Elgin to be fixed Russell & Rudy halled more oil
