Mon Apri 10 A gloomy rainy day Russell started to school this morning after a week vacation Lena washed the men butchered a hog I haven't felt well to day Tues Apri 11 A very bad morning rained & snowed & blowed Wallace Aulden & Rudy went too West Union it was Fordson day they had a good time it cleared of was a nice afternoon Lena made sausage head cheese but the hog up the men had a free dinner at W U Wed Apri 12 this has been a fine day froze last night & rained night before last we caned
