14 qts meat are frying down some put some in brine th Apri 13 A cold morning got warmer in the eve I went to Elgin with Russell this morning stoped to Berhia Kiples stayed with her for dinner had a good visit took the noon train for Clermont went to Wills Lena & I went over to see Lou Miller in the afternoon went home got supper then went to see Hulda Miller & her Mother a while well I was tired Fri Apri 14 A fine day I went to see Dr Carr this morning got some medicine I hope it will make me feel better I took the train this afternoon for Elgin to come home with Russell
