wed Aug 30 A nice day we caned 17 qts tomatoes 5 qts plumbs 3 of sweet apple pickels 25 qts in all Wallace took 9½ bushel apples to Elgin got 1.25 a bushel th Aug 31 pretty warm day Lena washed we put some corn out to dry cooked 15 qts apple butter O it is just work all the time Fri sept 1 A very warm day we caned apples did a lot of things we are going to the play at the church this eve Aulden is in it home agan the play was good a good crowdy
