Tues Oct 24 A fine day the Ill folks started for home this afternoon Frank Midberry was buried today Lena & Wallace helped sing for the funeral Russell has gone to Elgin this eve to the second (illegible) of the lycum coarse wed Oct 25 a fine day Lena washed I got dinner th Oct 26 A fine day Mary & I went to Elgin with Wallace this morning came home Lena Ella went with us to Wadena from there to Fayett then too West Union & home we got Ella a new coat & underware Wallace fired Rudy this morning
