Mon Dec 4 A gloomy morning cleared up was fine this afternoon Roy & Lee Klingman are husking corn for us to day & Fred Popenhagen is husking for us too we had them for dinner the wind raised & is bitter cold to night wind very high Tues Dec 5 A cold day every thing is froze up now we finished husking corn to day the Klingman boys helped finish & F Popenhagen too we are glad wed Dec 6 A cold day is snowing & sleeting this eve th Dec 7 A gloomy day not cold sleeted most all afternoon
