we picked & caned 6 qts cherries this afternoon th June 21 A hot day we ironed washed some blankets & strips of carpet Wallace & the boys went to West Union this afternoon to the laying of the cornor stone of the coart house Fri June 22 A hot day we planted some of our potatoes over today got 3 sacks of potatoes from W Flanagan Mrs F gave us a big shoe box full of the nicest big ripe strawberries we had short cake for dinner will have one for supper the folks all went to Fayette this afternoon but Russell & I
