today Dorothys dad came after her this eve the men cut some wood this afternoon (Astarter?) I have been busy all day don't know what I have done got a letter from Russell sat Jan 29 A good thawed a lot all slush Wallace was at Elgin & Clermont he got 5 sacks of flour Bill sutter came & fixed our kitchen light & brot our electric iron which is very nice sun Jan 30 A windy day not very cold I am at Linies tonight came down this morning with Vern Roberts he drove Bill Mort & I went to see Marth & Vick Null this afternoon they are to be taken to Mason City to a home poar old people are to be pitied
