Th Aug 25 we all went to the fair at West Union to day stayed for the night fair Charley came home done the coaches this eve came back again I see so many I knew I enjoyed the day Fri Aug 26 A nice day Wallace went to the fair this afternoon it is over now to day was the last day I am glad Lena did Auldins washing his laundry came yesterday & as we was all going to the fair couldnt wash sat Aug 27 A nice day cool this eve am afraid of frost Charley helped is Shaffer thresh all day Wallace helped ½ day sun Aug 28 A nice cool day had a shower just enough to settle the dust Wallace Lena & the girls went to Frank Cummings to day I spent the day
