4 qts apple pickels & got to lot of apple rubed through the colander to cook in to butter in the morning good night I am tired & sleepy am going to bed wed Aug 31 A warm day we made 10 qts apple butter Lena sewed I sewed some the girls & I called at Ogles a while this eve to see Cathryn before she went away to teach W L & Lena went to Elgin we rode home with them when they came back Sam Greathead was buried up here this afternoon th sept 1 A warm day is warm this eve we didn't get our apple butter cooked today we gathered some beans Fri sept 2 A warm day is trying to rain this eve we finished 7 qts apple butter have enough cooked & run through the colander for 15 or 16 more qts I am awful tired this eve
