sat sept 17 A hot day till 5 PM we had a wind storm is rainy now comes so gentle & nice Wallace was at Elgin got home just before the storm I felt so played out this fornoon sun sept 18 A cool day so we had fire all day it must of hailed off some where makes it so cool I slept most all afternoon Wallace & the girls went to church Mon sept 19 A cold day is raining this eve we gathered ground cherries are caning tomatoes 10 qts Tues sept 20 A cold windy day had frost last nite dident hurt anything Ira & Linnie Snyder & their Daughter Mary came this eve
