is Lenies Brother lives in Decater Ill wed sept 21 A cold day not so bad as yesterday Wallace Lena Ira & Linnie Snyder went to West Union today Mary Snyder went to school with Ella about 2 PM they got a telegram from home that Dale their son had a operation for apendicis this morning at 8 & wanted them to come home Wallace went to Wadena after Mary & they was on their way home less than a hour to bad they had to go so soon I got a letter from Russell today he writes he is getting along fine am glad to here it th sept 22 the weather hasent warmed up much yet although it was a nice day Lena is making me a dress she & Wallace has gone to Postville to see Dr Schmidt for Lena Wallace was at Wadena twice today
