Mon jan 2 a bitter cold morning was 22 below this morning has moderated some this eve Wallace went to Wadena got a team sled brot a load of coal home Mary & Cathryn Ogle was here a while this afternoon I riped up a blue serge skirt of mine Lena going to make Ella a dress out of it Tues jan 3 A bright day not so cold Wallace Lena & Ella went up to the church to a church supper is lovely moon light wed jan 4 A nice day Lena washed Wallace took Ella to Wadena to school this morning was gone till after 12 AM came home got her dinner went over to Elgin gone till evening he sold 3 calves for veal Ella is staying with Linnie the rest of the week the roads are so (?) she can't drive (rest illegible)
