evening Aulden went to Hapinkton to day Lena washed Sam Ogle shot old Nellie horse she got so she could hardly get around her legs all swelled up poar old horse Ella is at George Fays to night at a party she will stay all night Russell took her to school this morning. Tues Jan 22 A stormy day rained & snowed all day the wind is high & cold Ella came home through all the cold Lena washed the wood work in the kitchen this afternoon I dident feel very good to day wed Jan 23 A cold day Aulden took Russell to Elgin this eve he plans on going to Cedar Rapids tomorrow he will stay with
