Fri June 7 A nice day Ella & Wallace replanted corn yesterday & today they folks hear all gone to a play at the church this eve so I am alone for most of the night sat June 8 A nice day George Howard & Keneth Shaffer was here today sheared 10 sheep some of our sheep are in bad shape infested with magots in their wool sun June 9 A nice day very dry & dusty Lena & I was home all day the rest went to church Mon June 10 A very warm day Wallace Lena Mary & I went to West Union this afternoon Lena & I got us each goods for a dress Wallace Aulden & Ella went to Fred Ruts to practice we had the sheep shears this afternoon
