Tues June 11 A warm fornoon we had rain this afternoon came with quite a wind the men finished shearing our sheep we ironed Russells laundry came today Lena washed it dident get dry all it rained George Howard & Keneth Shaffer sheared or sheep wed June 12 we had some rain not much is cooler the Illyria folks went to Wagner to put on a program to their farm bureau meeting this eve Lena & Wallace went to Elgin this morning Ella & I done Russells ironing I fixed a pare of socks Irene Flanagan was married today th June 13 A gloomy day rained last night Mary & I planted squash pumpkin & cut start beans I am very tired
