th sept 12 A rainy day gloomy & chilly Wallace & Aulden went to Elgin this afternoon we caned 4 qts tomatoes a quart for soup Fri sept 13 A gloomy day rained this fornoon Wallace Lena & the girls went to West Union this afternoon Ella had dental work done got herself a nice raincoat Aulden sold one of our our little bulls got $1.25 he has gone to shaffers this eve I guess I had supper ready when they got home sat sept 14 A little cool today is chilly this eve froze some in Elgin last night Russells laundry came this morning is all washed &
