to Elgin this eve Mary went to get her hair cut wed sept 18 we had a heavy frost last nite Otas Rothlisberger cut corn here today Aulden cut corn too Wallace went to Elgin & West Union this afternoon to get something fixed about the silo cutter th sept 19 A nice day a little cool we had silo fillers today 7 men dident frost last night I think it will frost tonight it is so cold Fri sept 20 A nice day lovely bright moon light evenings we finished filling our silo this eve I am so glad & very tired also so good night & pleasant dreams
