to do sun aug 8 another hot day Russell had a hot fever last night & I have been sick all day we had a nice rain this eve Mon aug 9 A hot day Fred & Lily came home this for noon & I was glad for I was sick Walter brought us [illegible] Wallace is sick to [illegible] trouble Russell is lame in his rite leg & dont know why it rained all afternoon Tues Aug 10 a nice day Wallace & I feel better Russell is still lame doesent have any apetite [illegible] he [illegible] sick I dont eat anything hardly
