Tues sept 7 A fine day I ironed baked bread Wallace took a load of corn to the factory Wed sept 8 A gloomy misty day a bad weather for the fair it commenced yesterday Mother & Perle Klingeman started for Forest City today I med 2 1/2 qts apple butter & 6 qts yesterday th sept 9 A gloomy misty for morn was nice this afternoon Wallace & Lena went to Wedena to the fair Alden stayed with Father Russell & I [illegible] dinner here
