Mon July 28 A very warm day we worked Wallace finished culling his grain to day Tues July 29 A fearful hot day I ironed & baked & almost roasted my self wed July 20 A very warm day Mother went down to Linies this morning [illegible torn] go to the [illegible] school picnic tomorrow th July 21 A fine day not so hot I baked 2 pies a carmel cake & a mud cake we had [illegible] corn 2 day was fine
