was prety warm I canned 8 - 2 qts gooseberries baked bread & cinnamon rolls Alden was with us all day sun July 18 A nice day we all went to church but Father met 2 [illegible] scared us half to death we rode with Charley [illegible] a little ways he had Fremont Ogler [illegible] he was bringing it to Fremont Mon July 19 A fine day we washed got our new book [illegible] I dont like it very well Filassie & Leany Robinns came home from Iowa City to day had fun gave 4 weeks I guess Filassie will be all right
