mon Nov 7 A gloomy day Lena & I worked at the meat all day made sausage caned 12 qts fryed down a gallon fried out lard & not through yet but am very tired Tues Nov 8 A stormy day snowed most all day not cold Wallace went to Fayette to farm bureau meeting we finished frying our meat & sausage down I am so tired we ketched our chickens & put them in the henhouse Mr Davis fixed rusts for them today he helped us catch them wed Nov 9 A nice day over head very sloppy snow going off we finished caring for our meat today
