wed Dec 14 A fine day we ironed did our patching the men took 6 head of steers to Elgin to ship th Dec 15 A warm day sun not so bright as yesterday I went to Wadena with Wallace stayed all day had dinner at Linies we dident get home till after dark am tired got some Christmas not much Fri Dec 16 A very gloomy day not cold rained last night & most all day this eve it is snowing ground all white
