I am not sure of this, but I think it is a fantasy play. Arch Obolers play for June 17 was "The Immortal Gentleman". It is a play about a young man who has been obsessed all his life with a fear of ultimate death and who finds Mortality in a strange world. He is suddenly transported to the future when people live for hundreds of years, but have nothing to do. In this world he becomes na part of a revolution to overthrow this system. Arch Obolers plays can be heard re-broadcast over short wave station W8XK, Pittsberg, at 7:30 Eastern Standard time. "Lights Out" has not gone off the air. It is just not broadcast out here and it is hard to get any information here in the woods. Last night's play was about a man who was executed, but who knew what was going on around him. A LETTER FROM "SCENES OF FANTASY" In order to obtain material for the fanmags, OUTRE & SCENES OF FANTASY, which need it badly, we would like you to announce in FANTASY NEWS a contest for articles, humorous stories, verse or drawings.
