Unger, Julius, 1702 Dahill Road, Brooklyn, New York The Literature, Science & Hobbies club, and Mr. D. B. Thompson will be ineligible to renew until the June mailing of next year, unless they have something in this mailing. Mr. Knight, Mr. Michel, and Mr. Wollheim will not receive this mailing until such time as their dues are paid, and if not paid prior to October 1st, their mailings will be sent to the first three on the waiting list. It will be noted that there are fifty-one on the membership list. This is due to a mistake; after we had that Mr. Sullivan dropped for non-payment of dues and non-activity, he claimed non-receipt of several mailings, and it will be necessary to carry him until his membership again expires. This happened after the membership list was full. Oh, and we have a waiting list now! All one of him! Financial Report in out balance On hand, 6-5-41 $20.77 Dues $4.50 25.27 Stencils $0.30 24.97 Paper (including March mailing) .75 24.22 Envelopes 1.22 23.00 Postage 6.17 16.83 Express on accounts .35 16.48 Postage on Fantasy Amateur to editor .33 16.15 Account to date, Aug. 15th, 1941 It might be as well to add that the June mailing was very heavy--so heavy that the addition of one magazine--three sheets of paper--would have shoved it past the pound and into the two-pound class, which would have cost the treasury about $12. Twelve dollars is half a year's income under the old, fifty-cent dues; thank you for voting the dues-increase thru. Elmer
