The Winter Fapa mailing should be due to be sent in a few more weeks, and George and Russell are striving to get Mutant and Fantasy Critic, respectively, out in time. Fantasy Critic sells for 10(cents) a copy, and will positively be a worthwhile item. Bronson had had something planned for this mailing, but it's problematical whether or not it will appear. Chauvenet writes that Sardonyx should be ready, Liebscher reports that Walt's Wramblings will be larger than eve before, and if all goes well, this mailing should prove to be one of the best yet. jlg Harry Warner announces that he has turned over the letters received on the last issue of Spaceways to Larry B. Farsaci. Farsaci will print them in a special issue of the defunct fanzine, Golden Atom. The Fantasite's editors spoke just a little too late! Harry also states that he's afraid it won't be long now before he receives his questionnaire, and he'll be glad to have the suspense end one way or the other. Being drafted is probably the only way he'll ever get around the country to meet other fans, he says! PBR The S.A.McElfresh mentioned in connection with his swf Poetry Anthology on the previous page, writes that it is wholly possible that he may be able to have the work printed. This would mean better all-around readability and neatness, of course, and would also offer greater incentive for the poets who have promised material, or who had intended to send some. jlg ________________________________________ News items of fan-interest from any part of the nation are welcome. Publication will be as swift as possible, and each reporter gets a by-line for his contribution. There are also several - too many - complimentary copies going out issue after issue. If you're interested, please contact me at 221 Melbourne ave SE - Mpls, Minn. --John L. Gergen ________________________________________ Morrie Dollens has received orders from his employers to the effect that he is to leave for St Louis Wednesday, November 25th, so will probably be in St Lious for Thanksgiving. While ther, he is to help wire more of the boats for the Dingle Boat Works. The works was temporarily shifted to St Lious so as to escape the Mississippi River ice. At the end of six weeks or two months, Morrie will return. His employers have also given him an increase in salary, and Morrie reports that he will undoubtedly have lots of time in St Louis -- time in which to do many drawings, so be expecting a few more covers and art-work by Morrie in Tycho, Fantasite and perhaps other fan publications... We've got information on the next MFS meeting now, since the time and place had been rather indefinite. Members are to be at the Mpls YMCA (see bulletin for room no) at 7:30. For the program is Russell's reading of an article by him for the first issue of Fantasy Critic. There is also some of the business from the last meeting to clear up, and the second issue of Tycho will be distributed. read:tychofantasitefantasycriticbr-r-rackmfsbulletinwudgytalesandetc
